Hear Haseebah Ali talk about her work within the context of her first solo exhibition currently on show in The GAP Gallery.
Haseebah is a young Balsall Heath-based artist who uses printmaking to explore cultural and political themes. Her current exhibition showcases lino and drypoint prints from two series. The first and most recent is a selection of pattern designs inspired those found in Islamic art and architecture. The second series, Syrie, is a collection responding to the images of displacement that filled the headlines at the height of the Syrian Refugee Crisis.
FREE (but donations very welcome!)
No booking required.
