A Story Told Three Ways

 

New Birmingham is a dystopian story set in the year 2053. A few things have changed: zombies exist now, for example - but they're not that big of a deal.

The story features two characters: Craig is a young carer, and Charlie has run away from home. We follow both of their journeys through the streets of New Birmingham, to discover how each have been affected by mental health issues and the idea of 'illness'.

 

You can experience New Birmingham as a game, a physical installation and via out website. Each format looks at the the story differently, but they make sense on their own.
