Making History
FREE Sewing & Printmaking Course ran by Meera Osborne

"Making History is a project about celebrating ourselves, having fun and creating our own historical document that reflects what we want to see.
The workshops will involve sharing stories, drawing, designing and sewing a collective tapestry. Each participant will design a panel of fabric, which wiill become part of the shared tapestry reflecting on our chosen stories, historicising us and giving a sense of belonging.
Practicually the course will focus on basic hand sewing ad printmaking in a welcoming environment. During the workshops there will be time to make items for you to take home too.
The finished tapestry will become part of a touring exhibtiion in the UK alongside other tapestries from aroun the country.
All materials are inculuded.
