Be heard! Birmingham City Council are planning infrastructural changes to Moseley Road & Alcester Road as part of its efforts to create a Clean Air Zone in the city centre by 2020 by encouraging greater use of bus travel.

They plan to widen the road to allow for easier bus passage and less congestion, but this would also have an effect on how Balsall Heathens will experience our high street.

The pavements will be narrower, it will be more dominated by traffic and this will surely have an effect on organisations, public services & local businesses along the road.

Join us at this open meeting to view the plans and have a community conversation about how this will effect us and our highstreet. A councillor will be present to share back with the council.

Deadline for public consultation is 8th November.

All the documents are on online at Beheard https://www.birminghambeheard.org.uk/economy/alcester-road-bus/ <https://www.birminghambeheard.org.uk/economy/alcester-road-bus/>
