Prints by Haseebah Ali

11th June - 20th July

An exhibition of lino and drypoint prints by young Balsall Heath-based artist Haseebah Ali.

Haseebah centres her work around cultural and political themes, and the exhibition shows work from two series. The first and most recent is a selection of pattern designs inspired those found in Islamic art and architecture. The second series, Syrie, is a collection of lino prints and drypoints responding to the images of displacement and loss that filled the headlines at the height of the Syrian Refugee Crisis.
